Guided cloud-init build
Hostname, user, timezone, SSH public key, and allowlisted packages become a clean NoCloud user-data and meta-data pair. Bootable signed bases are the next step.
A safe NoCloud seed-ISO builder for cloud-init. Set the hostname, user, timezone, SSH public key, and allowlisted packages; get a checksummed ISO to attach on first boot. It is not a bootable OS image — the base OS still comes from your provider or a signed upstream image.
Hostname, user, timezone, SSH public key, and allowlisted packages become a clean NoCloud user-data and meta-data pair. Bootable signed bases are the next step.
Signed upstream bases, allowlisted fields and packages, isolated ephemeral workers, resource limits, and no arbitrary root scripts.
Every output gets a SHA-256 checksum and a short download window. Build artifacts are deleted automatically.
Attach the seed ISO as a second CD-ROM when you provision a VPS, dedicated server, or Cloud Bridge appliance. The Lounge ties into the Cloud without forcing it.
This preview does not create a bootable OS image. It also does not do pre-activated Windows, cracked software, arbitrary shell hooks, hidden secrets, or unverified base images. This is a first-seed-ISO builder for legitimate installs and lab work — not a way around licensing or someone else’s rules.
The seed-ISO builder is free for normal use. Bootable signed bases, longer retention, and deploy-to-ASCS automation belong to Plus and paid Cloud capacity. That keeps the free tool genuinely useful and the upgrade path natural.
